DJ FUMIYA started DJing at the age of 14. After he won the first prize at a DJ battle at club, he started joining with other artists' tours and recordings and built solid experience. When he was 18 years old, he joined the one of the top Japanese groups, RIP SLYME, and major debuted in 2001. The album "TOKYO CLASSIC" has recorded the first million sales in Japanese Hip Hop scene. There are hit songs such as "One," "Rakuen Baby," "Nettaiya." DJ FUMIYA has shown incredible talent in track making in the group, inspired by many kinds of dance music such as Hip Hop, Rock, Soul, Jazz, Latin, House, and Drum'n'Bass. He also has a career as artist producer, music producer, and remixer for artists including bird, AYUSE KOZUE, LITTLE, HALCALI, KOHEI JAPAN, Magokoro Brothers, YO-KING, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Mr.Children, and Tomoyasu Hotei. He currently DJs actively at club events. The genres he spins are mainly Electro House, Baili Funk, and Drum'n'Bass.
